MOFFITT SALES ENGINEER

Who we want

We are looking for a motivated, critical thinker to lead project teams in designing and fulfilling custom natural ventilation solutions for industrial clients worldwide. In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for meeting project specifications, retaining and/or increasing project margin, and providing world-class customer service to both internal and external customers in a team environment.

What you’ll do

Work with a Regional Sales Manager to identify and develop a sustainable customer solution to resolve heat issues within an industrial facility based on process or comfort requirements, within 72-hours. The quote package you prepare will include heat transfer, fluid dynamics and cost analysis in combination with other ventilation calculations. You will also:

  • Perform 1-2-day nationwide site visits and initiate further conversations with customers to identify facility issues and gain technical information on the structure of the building, current temperature conditions, ideal temperature conditions, and other pertinent information to design a working solution to address heat issues.
  • Lead a project team consisting of a Regional Sales Manager, Design Engineer and a Project Coordinator through the order fulfillment process. You will work with customers, engineers, vendor representatives, freight companies, and site personnel to successfully manage the 1 – 12 month projects from order procurement to project completion.
  • Run computational fluid dynamics analysis to demonstrate heat loads in the current facility and predict design results to customers and engineers through reporting and virtual presentations.
  • Attend monthly lunch and learn seminars presented by your co-workers and outside speakers on new procedures and processes, professional and personal growth, and technical aspects of our business and industry.
  • Participate in community service organized by Moffitt during our annual fellowship events to give back to our community and reinforce our internal relationships.
  • Develop processes and procedures to increase individual project margin by 10-20%.
  • Provide excellent customer service to engineers, architects, contractors, owners, vendors, and other team members in a timely manner through personal conversations, phone calls, and email correspondence.
