Moffitt Purchases Romlair

MOFFITT PURCHASES ROMLAIR: On September 1st, 2023, Moffitt, LLC (Moffitt) has purchased Romlair Fan Company (Romlair). This purchase includes the Romlair corporate office & warehouse in San Diego as well as the manufacturing facility in Tijuana, Mexico.

These locations join the other Moffitt locations; the main office in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and recently expanded factory in Denison, TX.

Like Moffitt, Romlair is, and always has been, a family business. The Haneline family founded Romlair in 1945, and they have operated it ever since. This acquisition adds the Romlair line of high-quality fans, wall louvers, and turbine ventilators to the Moffitt product line. For nearly 80 years Romlair has been a leader in ventilation and spot-cooling equipment for commercial and industrial applications. With a focus on California, Romlair also serves facilities throughout North America.

The Moffitt sales team, located throughout the U.S. and Mexico, delivers ventilation solutions throughout North America. The acquisition of Romlair allows Moffitt to expand ventilation solutions into the light industrial market. This includes warehouses, distribution centers, and more.

Moffitt solutions include natural ventilation, power ventilation, natural evaporative cooling, and industrial HVAC make-up air systems. Primary customers include end-users, contractors, and engineering firms throughout North America. Moffitt purchases Romlair on September 1st, but Moffitt first announced the purchase agreement in mid-August.
